Mentorship Program

Styrelisten is built on "pay it forward" thinking, and our mission is to build board experience and board competence for more women. Our mentorship program fits right into this idea.

The Mentorship Program

In the fall of 2019, we are launching our first mentorship program. Through the mentorship program, we want to build competence and motivation among the candidates while also engaging the established Norwegian board community in our individual candidates and in our project.

The concept of the mentorship program is simple: an experienced board member contributes with his/her time and competence as a mentor for a board candidate. The mentor and the mentee meet regularly over a one-year period and discuss board-related topics of their choice - either related to an existing board position or strategic positioning to achieve (other) board positions. The desired outcome is that the mentee (and also the mentor) has gained useful insight, developed professionally and expanded his/her network

All the Styrelisten candidates are welcome to apply for the program, and the mentors select their mentees from the applications they receive.
